Covers how to communicate effectively and respectfully with people with developmental disabilities. The training introduces person-centered tools, trauma-informed care, and empathy-based approaches to help build trust, reduce barriers, and support people in both one-on-one and group settings.
This course is eligible for two hours (2) of CPD credit in the areas of adult services, service and support administrator, and superintendent.
